But yeh, I hope to find a suitable haircut by the 14th of February (Valentines day). Please help! haha As some of you guys know,  I have a square/round face and black hair so I need a haircut to make my face look thinner etc. Here's a haircut I found that I really like hehe. Upload any photos/links below

We Got Married!!!!

Hi everyone again! If you don't know already, I'm a huge fan of the Korean reality tv show "We got married", mostly due to the celebrity couple Jo Kwon (2AM) and Son Ga In (Brown Eyed Girls).  They are the longest serving couple on WGM and gained a LOT of support from the world. Many would call them the "Global couple", able to adapt to any country (i.e. HK, Bali).

Their overwhelming schedule in 2010 as K-pop stars has led to the deterioration of their health. Ga In's wish was to be able to "get more sleep" in 2011 and Jo Kwon would also agree it would be a good idea. Jo Kwon's recent admission to the hospital due to stress and exhaustion from his promotional activities made me quite sad. Although they are no longer "husband and wife", they still star on the Korean comedy sitcom "All my love" so their separation wouldn't be as great. I really do want them to date in real life haha~ I support Adam couple/ Petite couple and hope they promote themselves successfully without stressing out too much.

This vid is one of my fave scenes of WGM adam couple (above). Below, one of the most touching things a guy can do for a girl. I really like Jo Kwon's cover of "Happy me", but until Ga In uploads it somewhere or until the WGM adam couple dvd comes out in March, i don't like i'll be able to listen to the digital version =(
This is a cut from the 2nd last episode of Adam couple.

I was very sad to see Adam couple end so crappily =( i was discourage anyone who wants to watch that particular episode. Only focus on the happy memories xD
Since i have nothing else to do in the holidays before uni starts, i plan to watch the entire series again haha. Here's a link if you're interested in watching Adam couple with english subs. Note: it's quite addictive haha.
I think after episode 43, they upload it onto facebook.

" Sweet potatoe" (CNBlue's Yonghwai and SNSD's Seohyun)  and Khuntoria (2PM's Nickhun and F(x)'s Victoria) couples are also on this site.

WGM Adam couple forever! <3 \

PREDICAMENT

Hi everyone! I'm blogging again because I've just hit a predicament that only arose when i was talking to Sam lolz. We would assume that girls would know what to give to their girlfriends and girls would give to their best friends. i.e.gifts that most suitable and has sentimental meaning to it, or you could just buy a box of chocolates from Bon Bon Fine Chocolates at Queen Victoria Building that cost $100. xD

If the person would have a particular interest in sport, we would buy them something from Rebel Sport or something. But it would be a little less romantic unless you knew the person extremely well (knowing their tastes and preferences). It's the thought that counts usually but sometimes it would mean wasting money on something other person doesn't like. This was the thing that no one could go wrong with: a piece of jewellery, preferably customised which is what Pandora is doing right now. But my question is:

What do girls get for guy friends

and what do girlfriends get boyfriends

 for special occasions?

The only answer I came up with was also custom made jewellery. If there was anything else that a guy would want, it would be games. What can be romantic as well as sentimental for a guy to have from their girlfriend? Any suggestions? please do comment if u do have any ideas!

Any ways~ I've been looking at this blog for nearly 3 hours and it makes we want to buy everything in it! check it out!

http://dskjewelry.blogspot.com/

It is full of gift ideas for girls and as usual, minimal in guy gifts.
But here are some jewellery for guys i found on her blog.

These are in US dollars btw.
On this site, you can also custom make your own bracelet and necklace i think. There is only one person who makes the jewellery and she;s based in Seattle =( so postage is $13.25 USD for international shipping.

Some really pretty pieces of jewellery i found on the website are these ( i wish i could buy them all =( ) :

As you can tell i only selected mostly bracelets because I don't intend to buy a necklace (there will always only be one necklace I would wear and it's from my daddy haha)
I added some necklaces in because they're just so pretty (understatement of the year). And since i'm a September birthday girl, blue is and always be my favourite colour. For those who've been to my home, they know the only room in the house that's light blue is mine lolz!
I actually intend to buy bracelet #5 when my friend contacts his friend in LA so woohoo! The bracelets take 2-6 weeks to make (first in first serve) so i need to order it ASAP!

Any ways~ off to bed since it's 11:44pm over here in Sydney.

Sydney Madang- Sydney's best Korean restaurant

Hi everyone~ for people who know me, i've been obsessed with Korean food ever since i got back from Korea for my post-HSC vacation in December. I've been hunting for the most authentic Korean food restaurant in Sydney city and I've found it through reading the reviews of numerous people online.
I've been to this restaurant three times already within the past 2 weeks and it has NEVER disappointed. I'm so happy i found it because it's like a dream come true. It is cherished by all Korean people in Sydney and no doubt those who have experienced Korean culture because of it's authenticity of the food.

The first time i went to this restaurant was when i was searching up places to eat for my friend's birthday celebration get together it was the day before UNSW info day (5th of Jan). I decided to try out the restaurant before making it the venue so a friend and i tried two dishes. When i first went to the restaurant i expected it to be in an alley way lolz~ but i accidentally passed it and it looked a bit dodgy haha. it was a funny situation.
Black bean noodles and the famous seafood pancake during lunch time (before 3pm). My friend expected the pancake to be small because it specified for the "small" serving. It cost $12 and it was well worth it. It had a spectacular taste and there was an abundant amount of seafood in it. The second dish was black bean noodles ($10) which is a very common food in korea that nearly everyone eats. It was VERY filling. I couldn't eat dinner after this day's meal.
The side dishes including the salad, sweet potatoe and cabbage were very fresh and tasted very much like the ones i had in korea. the cabbage was a bit chilli but it had a very delicious sweetness to it. My friend and I decided to burn the calories off by walking to Pyrmont Point park because she had not been there before. Pyrmont point park is one of the best locations for private get togethers which i will talk about later in a future blog entry. But yeh, back to the point. the restaurant has a SELF SERVICE BUTTON that i like pressing lolz~ i don't like it when the waiters rush me in ordering = =" . $22 for 2 people is great value. =)

The second time i went there was ON UNSW info day when i was ready to go home from the uni and randomly received a text message from a friend at UNSW handing in an assignment for the summer school program. He was complaining about the uni being extremely crowded (because it was an info day ><"). Since he had nothing to do again and i was SO HUNGRY, I decided that we go eat lunch lolz at the same place. When we got there he said i changed his impression of an alleyway being a "place where people get bashed" haha~ so yeh. we had bibimbap and of course the SEAFOOD PANCAKE <3. bibimbap is vegetables hand mixed with rice with some chilli paste. It was crunchy and scrumptious =) . They had different side dishes that day, i think they added some miso soup and some marinated lotus root (which were equally appetising) hehe . The funny thing was, that one of the waiters recognised i came the day before haha~ and he kept on looking at me to see if i was the same person xD . $24 altogether . and yes, we went to walk around town hall because we were quite full.

The THIRD time however, was the actual birthday celebration get together on the 13th of Jan xD. We went to Big echo karaoke (in which we had to wait for an hour to get into because it opened later than we expected at 1pm) so we ended up singing for only 2 hours because i reserved the sydney madang restaurant for 3pm. Usually they don't allow reservations so i think the manager lady was a bit grumpy that we were 15 mins late but she still gave great service! She taught us how to cook the beef on the bbq because it was a charcoal bbq. we ended up ordering 2 plates of meat for 5 people because some couldnt eat beef. The cooked meat was superb! =) full of compliments today haha~ We also ordered a type of fried dumpling (yummy), terriyaki chicken (tasty), 2 seafood pancakes and some others which i don't remember because i didn't eat them lolz. But the two tables were full already with side dishes.

We were nearly too full to have dessert which was the birthday cake. It was a Taro cake from Breadtop, very tasty as usual. The restaurant catered very nicely for us and we all appreciated the forks and plates. We gave them $10 tips . I'm just going to go to this place after a long day at uni... with a BIG group of friends haha.  the ambience is very good when it's lunch time. their dinner service is ferocious (is what i heard) since people line up until the end of the alleyway for dinner there. its like a 30 min wait after 6:30pm or something. *sigh*. The waiters and waitresses spoke little english but it didnt matter as much because the manager spoke it quite well. It ended up with a $108 bill so it's $13.50 for 8 people who ate until content haha~ I would give this restaurant a 10 /10 but everything but this isn't even an official review. I'll make one when i go there again and order heaps of dishes xD and take many photos. haha~

2011- [university] high school with more expensive books?

Hi everyone who's reading this~ My first blog entry at blogspot and it feels weird hehe. For those who don't know me, my alias is Lily =) I've graduated St George Girls High School in 2010 and am attending UNSW in 2011. I chose Bachelor of Commerce (liberal studies) and currently thinking of what liberal studies major I should choose even though i should know this already. And also by looking at my html, you can tell that i'm obsessed with the Australian stationery brand "Smiggle". <3

2011 UNSW Semester 1 timetable: Click on it for larger view
Is university different to high school? judging from this timetable it is. Instead of the usual 8:40am start, 3pm finish and additional lessons from tutoring centres, it has become variable and those tutoring lessons become free time... lunch time lessons become actual lunch times! haha . Uniform becomes daily mufti days hehe. But the thing that would change the most would be us (i think). We would be exposed to so many people, so many different perspectives about issues that may not have occurred to us before. What's your opinion? =)
