The only thing keeping me sane at university

Hi everyone,
I know I haven't blogged in a while because university assignments are packing on and I haven't had time =( .
I haven't been sleeping well recently which is a huge bother because I actually need it to concentrate (min 7.5 hours). I watched Lincoln Lawyer yesterday with a friend and it was a good movie. So yeh, note to watch it some time. If it wasn't for the movie, I would have chosen retail therapy which is bad because it would mean spending another $100 on clothes a week. Yes. I am stressed. The first assignment has been finished and I'm now stupidly lazing around when I have 2 tests next week and 2 assignments.

But~ at the end I still bought some stuff. on Monday and today. I shall show you guys~ how much I spend =.="
If you guys don't already know, I'm a huge BB cream fan and my collection is growinggggg. So far I have 3 bb creams and soon to become 6 lolz. I ordered 2 other bb creams on ebay today coming within the next week or so. xD  I have combination skin so I after my basic facial routine I need to set the bb cream with translucent powder. One translucent powder I recommend is the Natio Loose powder Translucent which is like $17 from Myer- I bought it on Sunday. I don't need foundation powder these days which is good. =D . Here's a list of BB creams I have:

1. Missha Perfect cover bb cream No.23 - i only have the 20ml but I plan to get the 50 ml one =)

2. Lioele BB Beyond the solution -one shade only unfortunate
3. Super Beblesh balm - Hot pink

I bought all these on ebay from rubyruby79 seller. She sends out samples as well so that's cool too. The BB creams I ordered today were:

1. SKIN79 Lovely Girl BB CREAM-$11AUD

2. Missha Cover B.B Balm Pact SPF 50+ / PA+++no 23- 17.50 AUD + shipping

3. Lioele Triple the solution bb cream -$22

I can't exactly tell you whether a bb cream is better than another because I mix the missha perfect cover and the lioele bb creams. the reason? Lioele bb cream only requires a little bit and it goes A LONG way. Missha's coverage is a bit better plus the colour is much similar to my actualy skin colour. I also purchased the Missha Pore minimising first base which is basically a primer that control oil and i think it's pretty good -$12.90  xD.

For days that I need extra coverage, I use the Laneige slliding pact_ex (snow crystal) SPF 25 PA++ # 5 (it was 32000 korean won which is about $31 AUD)

I bought this when I was in Korea and it's a really nice texture. Also it's very compact I'll show you a video haha.

My impossible wish list

Hi everyone! My skin's been getting better especially recently with some sleep and more food (meaning more nutrition). My headaches and nausea  have also gone after being off one of my meds. On another note, since my acne is finally healing up, it's a pain in the ass to battle it out with the remaining scars. So, I am seriously thinking about how to lighten facial scars dramatically. Please post comments down below for any suggestions. Here's a wish list I would love to have to try out and some other itsy bitsy stuff I want. The reason why I say this list is impossible because it is way out of my budget unless I do something really great for my parents so they'll pay for it xD.

University life

Hi everyone! it's been a while since i've bloggeddd! Life's been hard... So here's a taster as to what I go through nearly every day of the week.

If you read my previous entry about university it hasn't been much fun. It's been stressful and tiring. Sometimes I regret having all my classes during the mornings and finishing at 2pm. My classes usually start at 9am so there are 3 options:
1) Take the 7:39am bus from Rockdale OR
2) leave home at 8am and risk lining up in the stupid line that exists during the first few weeks of uni which is literally 500 metres long.
3) rock up 15 mins late like i have been doing for the past week. lolz ==" it's bad to be late for tutorials. lectures are fine

So yeh, i hardly take the bus because it only takes me to lower campus and it's annoying when the class is in mid campus and when all the good food is located in upper campus.

Starting at 9am means sleeping at 12 midnight and waking up at like 5 or 6am to study for wotever subjects i have on the day. It actually feels very bad being at a lecture half asleep and even falling asleep during a lecture. My subjects include Managing People and Organisations, Microeconomics, Business and Economic Statistics and Accounting. Here's my take on every subjects' lecture and tutorials.

1) Managing people and organisations-
Lecture- the lecturer is quite funny and interesting however, his heavy Singaporean accent ruins some of the jokes. In lectures like these, people rock up 30 mins late because it's a 2 hour lecture. There are considerably less people in lectures compared to those on the first lecture which is quite sad.
My tutor is great because he actually makes the topic interesting and interactive for everyone. Plus, he can actually read my messy handwriting xD

2) Microeconomics-
Lecture: The lectures are nbearly the reiteration of year 12 economics which makes lectures extremely boring. i hope it gets interesting soon.
Tutor: He seems like a nice guy and he can also teach pretty well. Although, he doesn't interact with the class that much, maybe because Microeconmics isnt so much of a interactive subject. o_0

3) Business and Economic statistics-
Lecture: absolutely clueless as to what is going on in the lecture. seriously, reading the textbook doesn't help AT ALL. Thank God PASS exists because I finally get what is going on with covariances and bivariate relationships etc. My PASS tutors are really good at explaining hehe.
Tutor: He's Vietnamese lolz He has an accent but he's a good tutor. Although he doesnt like speaking to the class directly, he seems to be in a world of his own when explaining to questions.... I'm not saying it's a bad thing. it's good he loves wot he does.

4) accounting:
Lecture: The lecturer is absolutely amazing. I say this because, during the first accounting lecture, she was talking about the online quizzes every 3 weeks. She ended up standing next to where i was sitting for 5 mins and she took my notes to show the class. THEN my phone went off just as soon (it vibrated on the desk because it was on silent) as she was about to keep walking. LOL. I thought i was gonna die of shock but like any professional and experienced lecturer, she ignored it.
Tutor: SHE'S KOREAN. WOOOT ! She's so smart and she's pretty ! She like her teaching method xD.

I know many of the people in my lectures so I'm never lonely but I would really like to meet new people and make new friends =) However, I have met a few new people already which is really good. haha~ any ways, study time!!! Laters~

First Day of University- Experience Futile

Hi everyone. Long time no blog. Today was my first official day of university...
I knew it was going to be boring but i didn't think it would be THIS boring. BUT, I know that university life will change when I meet people in tutorials and lectures-it's kind of expected. In recounting my first day, I shall start from the VERY beginning of my day!

This morning I woke up at exactly 6:38am and watched the orange sun rise from the east- which is coincidentally where my window is situated. It was dark and was sprinkling raindrops. Upon the realisation I still had a STUPID COLD, I knew i had to wear some warm clothing. I left home at 7:30am in case there was a long queue to buy my mymulti ticket and in case i was going to be late for my 7:59am bus to uni- which turned out to be 3 mins late. And yes, i skipped breakfast and bought sushi instead lolz. The bus was slow due to traffic- note to self to take the bus before it. And i do dislike public transport sometimes because it always has the tendency to be unpuntual. I was glad i knew where my lecture was at 9am in the morning and was also glad it was in the law building which was close to my bus stop. I arrived at the lecture theatre G04 at exactly 9:02am - and i thought I was late, which couldn't be compared to the other 50 people who arrived 10-55mins late.

The lecture is called "Managing organisations and people"- it was the MOST BORING LECTURE out of the other 2 lectures I had. I sat close to the back and ended up sitting with an amiable Korean guy and a guy who smelt like tobacco smoke (it was the only thing keeping me awake in the lecture) and was on facebook and playing SCRABBLE on his iphone for 99% of the lecture- don't know why he bothered coming back for the second half of the lecture after the break. But yes, some people found the lecture much too boring and just left when the 7 minute break started. When i say the Korean guy was amiable, I mean that because i think all korean people are nice haha- still have Korean fever from my vacation. But yeh, I chickened out to talk to him. It was unfortunate because i would have added him on facebook so we could go to korean restaurants- you guys know how i LOVE korean food ! haha.

ANY WAYS, when the lecture was over, I had to attend the next when straight away- Microeconomics! I realised I knew many people there, ended up sitting with an old friend =) We're going to have a challenge within the next few weeks- to make as many friends as possible and possibly add them on facebook or something. Microeconomics was quite fun actually. We had a very funny lecturer who had a good sense of humour - no, not sarcastic. I actually might learn something in this lecture because i like economics .

ONE HOUR BREAK- had butter chicken for lunch and sat in the library lawn with 2 friends until it started sprinkling again.

The last lecture of the day was "Business and economic stats". I thought this was a good lecture that brought some down to earth info about interpreting graphs and data- I'll enjoy it in the future. After this 1 hour lecture, I left uni to go to town hall for a movie with my friend, with the alias, Nichole- "No strings attached" was a really funny movie however, I must warn people of the numerous sex scenes which Demi Moore/kutcher will definitely ask Ashton Kutcher for explanations about their screening xD. It brought some light about many relationships. Natalie Portman is a great actress who did great in "Black Swan" as well. I wasn't a huge fan before but now I totally like her xD. Any ways. It's 11:09pm and I am dead tired *yawns*. Good night everyone! Good luck with everyone and their university courses!

One Month anniversary

Hi everyone! Thanks for everyone who has checked out my blog for the past month! I feel compelled to increase my blog entries xD any ways.I had a get together at my place yesterday and was supposed to give everyone a yellow rose for a belated Valentines present, however, due to my stupid memory, i left them in the kitchen when we left to eat dinner lolz SO i decided to upload them here. When i was researching about flowers on the internet, I found out a yellow rose meant celebration, joy and friendship .

It's 2 days until UNSW O week. 9 days until University starts. 10 days until Autumn starts. Have fun everyone ! See you guys at O week xD

Short hair in 13 years

Hi everyone.
I finally got a haircut and it's my first time in 13 years i've had short hair... and also a  fringe haha. However, my haIir doesn't look that great if I don't wear any accessories with it, if not, I'll have to straighten it because there are still some signs of my perm (wavy ends). it looks a bit weird . haha. Any ways, i didn't realise how well short hair suited me; great way to start anew. I won't be posting any fotos up since you guys will probably see me around university- or maybe just not recognise me at all haha! I feels good to have short hair after so many years of long hair =) However, this event has led to one another addiction.*drum roll* and these are

HEADBANDS.

So I went online shopping for them on ebay lolz. (yeh, i'm a little crazy now). Headbands, especially the ones with the prominent flower/shiny thing are very suitable for people with short hair/should length hair. Here are some of the really nice ones i might be buying off ebay- most of these are stocked by a South Korean seller on ebay called  dear-blossom who I am abolutely loving right now. Handmade headbands all the way~~~~ <3 These are all on my wish list/ watch list.

As you can see they're mostly blue/pink/silver/white because they're colours I can pull off. However, since Valentines Day was yesterday, here's a present for my readers.
My friend, with the alias Nichole, made it for me haha. I tried and failed making a rose. But here's a BLUE kawasaki rose. However, TODAY, is Break Up day. So HAPPY BREAK UP DAY EVERYONE!
